2. What is the flat part of the leaf, between the veins, called?
    
3. What is the difference between simple and compound leaves?

4. Some of the parts of a leaf that make it unique are the veins and its shape. Look at some  of the images of different leaves here and notice the different patterns that the veins make and notice some of the various shapes of some of the different leaves. Draw examples of  2 differently veined and shaped leaves and label them with their names. What kind of texture do they have?
